Digital Wood Carver 2440 - DigiVac Dust Eater Model 2.5 and 4.0.

The DigiVac Dust Eater Model 2.5 & 4.0 for Digital Wood Carver model DWC 2440 is a superior dust boot that is intended to replace the factory dust adapter that comes from the CNC manufacturer.  It allows for an adjustable height travel range of 2 ½” to allow for proper bristle height for short and long tools.  Note: This model fits all DWC 2440 models but does not fit the DWC 1824.
 
The dust boot is sized for either a standard 2.5" or 4” vacuum hose.  The dust collection has been significantly improved by focusing more of the intake around the cutting bit.  The surface area of the intake has been designed to maximize the amount of flow.  A computerized flow analysis study was used to design the most optimized shape for the intake to outtake transition to eliminate any restrictions in airflow.
 
The 4/5 point magnetic bristle frame attaches securely with an added groove to help eliminate accidental detachment. The bristle frame has been designed to allow for easy bristle replacement if they get worn or damaged by the work piece.
 
There is also an optional mount for the Opt Laser 6W and 15W laser.  The optional mount fits the dust shoe spindle mount and allows for the quick interchangeability of the dust boot and laser mount. (Laser not included)
